The chief economic activity of Ivory Coast is agriculture. About 70% of the population is into agriculture. Their biggest products are cocoa, coffee, and tropical woods. Nearly 64% of the country's land is used for agriculture. But of the total area of the country 8.8% is arable, 13.2% has permanent crops, 41.5 is permanent meadows and pastures, and 32.8% forest.
The population density is 62.07 per square mile. The infant mortality rate is 60.16 out of 1000 live births. The major language of Ivory Coast is French as that is the country they gained independence from.
